ITUMELENG ‘TUMI’ MORULE [MAGI] a Master Architect who completed his Bachelor of Architectural Studies at the University of Cape Town School of Architecture, Planning and Geomatics. He joined Bentel International Associates in 2004 as a junior architect obtaining exposure to in-house specialist shop planning and mall /shopping centre design and communications. He later was involved in various large scale projects spanning the continent including The Michaelangelo Towers and The Mall in Sandton City, The Palms in Lagos Nigeria, Accra Mall in Ghana, and The Gautrain Rapid Rail Link (GRRL) just to name a few.



He also worked as the Master Architect for GAJV (Gautrain Architects Joint  Venture) office in producing concept design master planning for the GRRL system, design development, working drawings, coordination drawings, project management, document control and signage design for all GRRL System stations. In 2008, as a professional architect, he joined Boogertman and Partners Architects Johannesburg Office where he was part of an elite team focused on the Peermont Group’s portfolio of projects. He is a director and principal at The Magi Group, where he utilizes his broad skillset acquired over 10 years of experience in commercial practice to steer the architectural office. A key member of the team he is an inspirational force to all that come to know him.



THEMBA MEKWA [MAGI] completed his Bachelors and Post Graduate degrees at the University of Cape Town School of Architecture, Planning and Geomatics. His career began in 2006 joining the office of Revel Fox and Partners in Cape Town where he was involved in a number of projects of various scale. These include various 4 and 5-star hospitality developments for the Petousis Group such as the Colinton Wing extension of The Vineyard Hotel in Newlands, Townhouse Hotel and D’Ouwe Werf Hotel, Stellenbosch. Public education facilities: Khayamandi Secondary School and Bongolethu Primary School for the Western Cape Provincial Authority. Residential developments: Chapel Street Development - District Six, House Del Cinque – Saldanha Bay and Princess Christian Home – Tokai.



He has also completed a number of retail shop designs including


The Creative Recreation Lifestyle Brand store and was lead architect for all CHARNLEES CHOP-CHOP franchise outlets. After obtaining his professional registration he went on to become project lead for the FIFA Football for Hope Centre, Limpopo. From 2013-15 he was project architect for the national headquarters of the Passenger Rail Agency South Africa (PRASA)

He is a director and principal with 10 years of practical experience in small to medium scale projects.
